The first speaker was Anita Best, an Independent Consultant who
presented, 'Franchise Opportunities in US'. Anita runs 'Find Your
Franchise', and presented a wealth of information about the Franchising
Industry and explained how simple and easy it is to find a business that
fits an entrepreneur's needs. She offered her free, no-obligation
consultation in carefully selecting a Franchise Business and assured her
help throughout the identification through implementation process.
Interestingly her services are absolutely free!!
At the end of Anita’s presentation most attendees were surprised to know
that there are more than 600 different franchises that are available.
The idea of home- based franchises has attracted some audience. During
the Q&A that followed, several attendees had very interesting
questions. Anita has quoted that several entrepreneurs from South Asia
make up a very good percentage of Franchise Owners in this Country. She
closely works with the Indian Community and has some repeat
consultations. Anita is also a guest faculty at the School of Business
